Chevisance Farm is a small family farm in Northwest Washington.  We raise Boer goats for meat and milk, Nubian and Oberhasli goats for milk, and Nigerian Dwarf goats for milk and pet purposes.  Most of our herd is made up of Boer goats and Nigerian Dwarf goats, with only a few Nubians and Oberhaslis.  Please take a look around, and if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please visit the Contact Us page.

Lucille with her doeling and buckling, the newest editions to our herd.

April 28 NEWSFLASH -->  Lucille delivered twins at noon that were incorrectly positioned, having their front feet back and their heads first.  A buckskin doeling came first, and then a strawberry-blonde buckling - both have white spots.  I'm still thinking of names for these two.  Mom and kids are all doing great!

April 15 -  Epiphany gave birth to a mischievous little buckling EARLY in the morning!  This was her first freshening, but both she and the kid are doing very well.  Jacob is actively searching for a name for the buckling - I'm voting for "YU Little Stinker!" to reflect his talents as an escape artist.  He's just like his mother was when she was his age...

April 9 -  Treasure had quadruplets at about 1:00 in the morning.  Both doelings and both bucklings weighed about 3 pounds each.  Mom has not yet chosen names for the kids.

March 19 -  Tally had 2 doelings last night in between our checks to see if she was in labor.  Each doeling weighed 8.5 pounds.  Mom named them Yee Haw and Giddy Up.

March 18 -  Roxy had 1 doeling dried off and nursing by the time anyone was the wiser.  She weighed 10.5 pounds.  Logan has chosen to name the doeling PattyCake.

February 20 -  Calli had 1 active and sweet doeling.  I couldn't get the scale to work for a birth weight on her, but I think she weighed about 9 pounds.  I named her Crocus, since she is the first girl of the year!

February 7 -  Toasty had 2 very healthy bucklings.  The first was 11 pounds, and the second was 9.5 pounds.  Both boys should make great market wethers or back-up market wethers for the fair in August!
