The Oberhasli is a dairy goat breed that originated in
Switzerland. It is a full-sized dairy goat with a calm, yet alert personality. The standard colors for an Oberhasli
are a reddish brown, with black markings on the head, chest, legs, and a black dorsal stripe down the back. Oberhaslis
are very rarely all black, however, this variation is acceptable for does, according to ADGA breed standard.
Solid black Oberhasli bucks are disqualified.
